Prof. Zhongyang Li

Wuhan University, China

Prof. Zhongyang Li received his B.S. degree in Optoelectronics from Tianjin University (China) in 2011, and a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department from Northwestern University (US) in 2017. From 2017 to 2019, he was a Photolithography Development Engineer for emerging memory at Micron Technology (Boise, ID, US). In 2019, he has been recognized as National High-Level Young Talent and joined Wuhan University (China) as a full professor.

He has authored and co-authored >40 papers in peer-reviewed journals, with a cumulative impact factor of up to 450. His works have appeared in several high-impact journals, including Science, ACS Nano, Nano Letters, Advanced Functional Materials, Laser & Photonics Reviews, Small, Optica, etc. He has been recognized with National High-Level Young Talents, Hubei Outstanding Youth, Ryan Fellow from the International Institute of Nanotechnology, SPIE Optics+Photonics Education Award, IEEE Photonics Society Conference Award, etc.

Prof. Kaige Wang

Prof. Kaige Wang is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Photonics and Photonic Technology, Northwestern University; he went to the University of South Carolina as a senior visiting scholar during 2010-2011. Currently, he is mainly engaged in research in the fields of laser micro-nano advanced manufacturing, nano-bio/medical photonics, super-resolution imaging, and physical electronics. Prof. Wang has presided over more than 30 research projects, including the Key Project of US-China Science and Technology Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Cultivation Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's (NSFC) Major Research Programs, the Top-level Project of NSFC, as well as the Knowledge Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the Major Fundamental Research Project of the Natural Science Foundation of Shaanxi Province. He has published more than 130 academic papers, authorized more than 10 national invention patents, and co-edited one foreign language monograph.

He is the director of the Key Laboratory of Optoelectronics Technology of Shaanxi Province, the deputy director of the National International Joint Research Center for Optoelectronics Technology and Nano-functional Materials, the head of the “Scientific and Technological Innovation Leading Talents” and the head of the “Optoelectronics and Nano-Photonics Biomedical Application Innovation Team” in Shaanxi Province, as well as the head of the Optical Society of China. He is also the head of the “Innovative Team for Biomedical Applications of Optoelectronics and Nanophotonics Technology” in Shaanxi Province, the executive member of the Biomedical Photonics Committee of the Optical Society of China, the director of the Physical Society of Shaanxi Province, and the vice president of the Optical Society.

Sun Yat-sen University, China

Zhengji Xu is an Associate Professor in Sun Yat-sen University, China. He received B.Eng. degree and Ph.D. degree from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2010 and 2016, respectively. He worked as a scientist in Institute of Microelectronics, ASTAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research), Singapore from Nov 2017 to Mar 2020. His research interests include flat optics, near field optics, nanofabrication and nanophotonics integration. He had authored more than 60 papers in the peer reviewed journals and international conferences.
